Sandra Lee Ward, 72, of Jeffersonville, passed away at Fayette County Memorial Hospital on Saturday, January 26, 2013. She was born September 2, 1940 in Bookwalter, in Fayette county to Ernest and Nora Irene Bruce Maxwell.
She was employed by Bundy Tubing in Sabina as a laborer, and was a member of the Gregg Street Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Rick Ward and an infant brother, Maxwell.
She is survived by her husband Johnathan A. Ward to whom she was married for fifty years, a son, Thomas Ward of Jeffersonville, her daughter in law, Karen Ward of Xenia, two sisters, Norma (Henry) Campbell of Springfield, and Pamela Olson of Lexington, KY, her grandson, Clayton Adam Anders of Milledgeville, and special friends, Nancy (Don) Stoops of Jamestown and Mark Pollock of Jeffersonville.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 11:00 a.m at the Morrow Funeral Home in Jeffersonville with Pastor Donald Dillon of the Gregg Street church of Christ officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home in Jeffersonville on Thursday, January 31, from 5-7 p.m. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery.
