James “Jim” Lee Coldiron Jr., age 64, of Washington CH, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2013 at 9:40 p.m. at the Fayette County Memorial Hospital.
He was born on May 2, 1948 in Fayette County to James Lee Sr. and Betty Jane Gardner Coldiron. He had worked at Armco, Thatcher Plastics and Schulers Inc. of Columbus. He was a 1966 Washington High School graduate and he enjoyed building computers.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, sister Sarita Lynn Shiltz and daughter-in-law Leah Ann Coldiron.
Survivors include his wife Ozella Pearl Day Coldiron, whom he married on April 29, 1967; his children James Lee Coldiron III and Angela Lynnette (Michael) Coldiron-Moore all of Washington CH; grandchildren Matthew Alan Coldiron, Lorin Alivia Coldiron and fiancé Tyrus Brannon, Alexander James Moore and Alexis Christine Moore; siblings Sue (George) Geesling and Russ (Dianne) Coldiron as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends including special cousin Teresa Ann (Mark) Brooks-Yoho.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Danny Dodds officiating with burial to follow at the Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
