Kathleen Abbott, age 87, of Washington CH, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 11:45 a.m. at the Country Glenn Nursing and Rehab Center.
She was born on February 26, 1926 in Austin, Ohio to Alfonzo and Maude Clark Campbell. She had worked as a nurse’s aide at Autumn Years Nursing Home in Sabina. She enjoyed reading, shopping, bowling and cooking.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, her step-father Milt Sines, siblings Della Penwell, Irene Sword, Laura Pollard, Jessie Wilson and James Campbell.
Survivors include her children Connie (Billy) Howe and Diana (Gary) Swickard all of Washington CH; grandchildren Karen Hall, Julie Neauover and Dwayne Howe; great-grandchildren Samantha Hall, D.J. Howe, Kody Howe, Patrick Neauover and Kaley Dunham as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no viewing or service. Cremation took place.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Summers Funeral Home.
